We recently stayed at this place at the end of our campervan trip and it was exactly what we needed. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and felt homely. Our two-year-old loved playing with the jigsaws in the communal room. The owners have thought of everything to ensure the guests' comfort, including facilities for after check-out. The owners themselves were lovely people, a credit to the hospitality business and to this venue. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this place and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The room and en-suite bathroom were incredibly spacious, clean, and felt more like a luxurious hotel room than a typical hostel. The in-room fridge was a convenient addition, perfect for storing snacks and drinks. The location of this venue was also ideal, with supermarkets just a short five-minute walk away and the ferry pier to the islands only a 10 to 15-minute stroll. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, always ready to help with any questions or issues. I will definitely be staying here again when I am back in town.
I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

the owner, Erik, was incredibly friendly and always available when I needed him. the room felt like a cozy home away from home, with amenities like a mini fridge, kettle, and complimentary tea and coffee. It was conveniently located, just a short 12, 15 minute walk to St Magnus Cathedral and only 5, 7 minutes to the local Co, op, where there was a bus stop nearby. the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a private bathroom and an extra blanket for added comfort. it was a great experience. Cons: Nothing, it was a perfect stay! 😊.

Great Facilities and Location This hostel provides superb facilities, including a clean and comfortable bedroom, a spacious lounge, and a well-organized kitchen. the location is also very convenient, with a nearby bus stop and supermarkets just a short walk away. the staff is helpful and friendly.
Entrance and Stairs the hostel's entry and stair carpet are cramped and tired, which could be offputting , especially after a long day of travel. this negative aspect is minor compared to the overall quality of the facilities and staff.

Great value for the price, especially for a hostel. The staff were always available and helpful, providing useful advice during my stay. The hostel was also very clean and well-maintained, with a big kitchen and supermarkets nearby for self-catering options. The free tea and coffee were a nice touch, making me feel right at home.
The location was a bit of a walk from the main attractions in town, about 20 minutes. The lack of ventilation in the rooms was noticeable, which could be a problem on windy days.

The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked some lovely meals there. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the local attractions and shops. The bed was comfortable and we had a view of the garden from our room.
The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors clearly. Unfortunately, on our romantic escape, there was a rowdy group of guests staying and they were up late, shouting and making a lot of noise.
